Senior Backend Engineer

Build the core platform services — multi-tenant APIs, mail ingestion, billing integrations — that power Prabhix products at scale.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Design and implement REST APIs in Java 25 / Spring Boot with strict tenant isolation
- Own performance-critical paths: cursor pagination, outbox workers, Valkey caching
- Write Flyway migrations that are safe to run against live production tables
- Participate in architecture reviews and mentor mid-level engineers
Requirements
What we're looking for
Required
- • 5+ years of backend development with production Java experience
- • Strong PostgreSQL skills — indexing, query plans, partitioning concepts
- • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS or similarly complex data models
- • Comfort with Docker, CI/CD, and observability basics
Nice to have
- • Prior work on email systems (IMAP/SMTP, MIME parsing, threading)
- • Razorpay or Stripe payment integration experience
- • Contributions to open-source Java projects
